Mr Ellis listened to my concerns with a patient centred approach. We agreed a good way forward. If you only see one consultant urological surgeon this year, make it this one!

My original appointment was with Dan Cohen but due to circumstances etc (strikes) Dr Ellis performed the operation. I was happy with this after talking to Dr Ellis and although in some pain after the operation ,relived with morphine, I felt everything had gone well. In fact as time went on I was extremely pleased with the outcome of the operation and that everything had solved the problems that I had been experiencing. I saw Dr Ellis some 4 months later as a follow up. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. As I said before everything went well due to Dr Ellis expertise

Mr Ellis is very enthusiastic and positive. He was encouraging in deciding to have HoLEP and attentive immediately before and immediately after the op. The subsequent incontinence was still a shock despite his warning and my inability to get a discussion him on this was very frustrating but the fault of the system not his. My follow up appointment took place after six months not six weeks!

Dr Ellis has calming effect on patients. He explained the whole procedure and was eager to give answers to any question before the operation.I cannot believe how drastically my health improved after HOLEP procedure.I wished I followed his advice for an early operation instead of looking for alternative methods of curing my BHP.
